The F.O.P. Earl L. Brown Lodge # 89 is always interested in helping youth groups in the areas of our members! If you have a group or individual that may benefit from some financial assistance, please send us a detailed request through the mail. Our address is located below.
Youth program- “SHOP WITH A COP”
Since 1994, the FOP #89's Shop With a Cop TM program has set out to provide local youth with a chance to have a better holiday season! The program also supports young individuals and youth groups throughout the year! Approximately 150 local children (pre-selected based on needs) get to go shopping with a member of law enforcement. Together they will focus on selecting items they will need for the coming year such as clothing, toys, and school supplies. The lasting memories and connections made between them may are free, but the program relies solely on individual and corporate donations.
Unlike some programs, 100% of the donations stay in our community and are put directly toward the purchase of the items. You can be sure that every amount of your donation is used wisely and solely for children. The donated funds may also benefit other important youth-oriented programs for the local community as needs arise throughout the year.
